    During face-to-face consultations, we may check blood pressure, pulse, heart rate, weight, body-mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (and other relevant examination).

    We will create a personalised plan for you to support:

  • A 60-minute comprehensive assessment of your health, with a 30-minute follow-up appointment.

    • You will be invited to a complete a pre-assessment health & wellbeing questionnaire

    • The assessment will consist of a detailed medical history. This includes assessment of your nutrition, physical activity, sleep, mental wellbeing and any harmful substance use.

    • Examination: blood pressure, pulse, weight, waist circumference, cardiovascular and other relevant examinations

    • Investigations as appropriate and may include blood tests (cholesterol, diabetes, liver etc), ECG

    • At the follow-up appointment, you will be provided with a detailed written report summarising the findings with recommendations and agreed next steps.

    ACT is a mindfulness and values-based behavioural therapy, offering an effective approach to managing difficult thoughts and emotions, whilst taking committed action towards values-based goals.
